Police Investigate Daytime Shooting in Manchester, New Hampshire

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, are investigating a noontime shooting. 

Police were notified of "shots fired" in the area of Lincoln and Laurel Streets at 12 p.m.

Officer Peter Boylan, who was working a security detail at the Elliot Hospital, says a male victim with a gunshot wound entered the hospital around 12:10 p.m.

Authorities responded to the area of Enright Park in an attempt to locate a crime scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
