Authorities are asking the public to help identify two suspects in a shooting in a Massachusetts skate shop that killed the business' owner six years ago.
Shawn Clark, owner of Patriot Skateboards at 804 Main St. in Malden, was shot while working at his store in 2013. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and law enforcement authorities are once again releasing a surveillance video from the incident for the public to view.
The video shows two men walking into the store. Officials hope that the public may be able to idenitfy the two suspects. They ask that viewers pay close attention to the suspects' faces, bodies, and clothing.
Authorities believe that the two men entered the store after 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2013., and was followed by some kind of conflict between the men and Clark. After one man shot Clark multiple times, both suspects fled the scene.
Aurora Ill. Shooting: Victims Identified
State and local police have continued to investigate the shooting since 2013 and believe the murder can be solved. Officials say they have made some progress on the case, but at this time, no one has been charged in connection with the shooting.
Police hope that someone with information about the incident may decide to come forward with information after six years. In the past, people with information that may seem insignificant have given detectives crucial insight that led to arrests.
Clark's mother has been vocal over the years in her pleas for justice for her son, who was also a Marine veteran.
"I believe that people out there know who did this and it's time to come forward," Anita Clark told NBC10 Boston/necn in 2016.
Assistant District Attorney Christopher Tarrant is the prosecutor for this case.
