Police in Connecticut have seized four trailers worth of illegal fireworks with an estimated value of $250,000.
On July 1, police executed a search and seizure warrant of a single-family residence in Danbury, along with a storage barn.
The investigation was initiated after a complaint was received on June 30 from the Danbury Fire Marshal.
The search revealed the possession, storage and sales of an extraordinary amount of illegal fireworks, explosives and IEDs.
Four trailer loads of product were removed and transported from the scene by Bomb Squad personnel.
Narcotics and cash in excess of $3,600 were also seized.
Several felony arrests of multiple suspects are anticipated as the probe continues.
