Police are investigating after a Hooksett, New Hampshire, resident reported finding what appeared to be a plastic bottle-type bomb in his mailbox on Tuesday.

Hooksett Police were called to 15 Ridgeview Drive on Tuesday for a report of a suspicious device. The caller said he found what appeared to be a bottle bomb in his mailbox. Upon arrival, police were able to confirm the device as a possible explosive and closed down a portion of Ridgeview Drive to traffic.
