A sunny, seasonable Sunday is on the way. With less wind than Saturday, it won’t feel too cold outside.

Monday will also be quiet. Temperatures will be seasonably chilly. High temperatures Sunday and Monday will be in the mid 30s. Monday night clouds will increase, but we should stay mainly dry through Tuesday morning.

A storm system will move in during the day Tuesday. We are expecting a burst of snow for everyone, which could have significant consequences on the Tuesday evening commute. Snow will change to rain, along and south of Route 2. Freezing rain and sleet may push all the way into the lower Green and White Mountains. You’ll need to go pretty far north to stay snow. Even where we see a change to rain, it’s likely that we will see a plow-able snow.

Temperatures Wednesday will reach the mid 40s which will quickly melt the snow in central and southern New England.

The next storm system will move through at the end of the week and into Saturday. Temperatures should be warm enough to support mainly rain. By Sunday temperatures will cool off into the mid and upper 30s and that’s where we will stay through that Tuesday. Our weather pattern will remain stormy, so another round of mixed precipitation will be possible.
