The trial has started for two men charged in the 2014 slaying of a man in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Providence Journal reports that Bruce Moten and Antonio Fortes are on trial this week on charges alleging they plotted the shooting that killed 22-year-old Terry Robinson and injured another man as part of an ongoing feud between gangs.
Prosecutors say 27-year-old Moten and another man fired on Robinson and other gang rivals in October 2014. Robinson was declared dead at the scene.
Moten and 26-year-old Fortes are among four men allegedly involved in the killing, which prosecutors say was orchestrated by Fortes.
Prosecutors say one of the alleged co-conspirators, Henry Lopez, agreed to testify about that day's events.
Fortes and Moten are both being represented by attorneys.
