University Police Officer Accused of Lewd Behavior

Police arrested Wilter Dormevil on charges of open and gross, lewd and lascivious conduct and intimidating a witness

A Framingham State University police officer accused of lewd behavior has been banned from the school. 

Police arrested Wilter Dormevil on charges of open and gross, lewd and lascivious conduct and intimidating a witness.

Campus police learned of the incident Saturday. 

The school is not yet saying if the incident involved a student. 

Dormevil has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

FSU released a statement that said in part, "Framingham State University regard the safety of our students, faculty and staff as paramount in our duty to the University community and we will continue to hold our officers' conduct to the highest standards. The situation was isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the University.
