    Crews Search Water in Wilmington

    Dive crews were on Silver Lake in Wilmington after a child went underwater.

    A teenage swimmer has died after going underwater in a lake in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

    The Middlesex County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday night that a 19-year-old male went underwater while swimming in Silver Lake with relatives. He did not come back up.

    State police divers responded around 5:45 p.m. The victim was pulled from the water, and the DA's office said first responders attempted to save his life.

    The teen was taken by ambulance to Winchester Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
