Fans who eat the food when attending Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins games can rest comfortably, according to an ESPN Outside the Lines report on food safety.
The report reviewed food-safety inspection reports for all 111 North American pro sports venues and found Gillette Stadium, Fenway Park, and TD Garden to have among the lowest percentages where inspectors found at least one or more high-level violations.
The food safety violations from the inspections across North America include reports of rats, roaches, improper food temperatures, and food workers' hygiene.
Gillette Stadium was ranked the fifth best, TD Garden 24th, and Fenway Park 26th.
The three worst sports venues in North America are the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, the Palace at Auburn Hills, Michigan, and American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The three best sports venues for food safety are Oracle Arena in Oakland, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and NRG Stadium in Houston.
