Police tell the Portland Press Herald that 59-year-old Christine Anderson of Smithfield, Rhode Island, was driving north at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday when the southbound truck went of control. Anderson died instantly.

Police say she and her husband own property in Rangeley.

The tractor-trailer driver was identified as 58-year-old Daniel Dunlea of Londonderry, New Hampshire. He was hauling recycled paper products.
