Maine Gov. LePage Seeks Spot in Trump Administration

Maine Governor Paul LePage said he’s seeking a spot in Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s administration, but may settle for a Senate run against Sen. Angus King if that doesn’t work out.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, LePage spoke at a town hall Wednesday night, LePage said he wanted a spot, but did not want to be vice president, because he said he’s too similar to Trump.

LePage accused King of using his previous position of governor to increase personal wealth.

LePage also endorsed Trump for president in February.

He added that he would not run for Senate unless he got his wife’s approval.
