The two-car crash occurred near Brady's home in Boston's Back Bay area around 6:30 a.m.
The team's Tweet on Twitter this morning said: "Patriots QB Tom Brady was in a car accident this morning. He was not hospitalized and is expected at Gillette Stadium today."
The Patriots will take on the Bengals in the season opener on Sunday.
A passenger in one vehicle was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
