Patriots Get Into Halloween Spirit for Pediatric Cancer Patients

The athletes posed for photos with the patients, colored with them and decorated some pumpkins with them

More than 40 children battling cancer were in for a treat on Tuesday when the New England Patriots hosted their annual Halloween party at Gillette Stadium.

Players Marcus Cannon, Adam Butler, Rex Burkhead, Matt LaCosse, Terrence Brooks, Nate Brooks, Calvin Munson, Joe Cardona and Shilique Calhoun all donned their best costume for the event, bringing smiles to the children and their families.

The athletes posed for photos with the patients, colored with them and decorated some pumpkins with them. Trading their jerseys for family-friendly costumes, some of the Pats players dressed as Buzz Lightyear, Black Panther, Mario and Luigi and Prince Charming.

Even Pat Patriot was in on the fun as the mascot dressed as Woody from "Toy Story."
