Mass. Coast Watching Next Storm Closely

(NECN: Deanna Morgan, Plum Island) - People along the Massachusetts coast will be watching this next storm very closely. The coastline has been pounded this winter.

The problem on Plum Island is that even the smallest storm could have a huge effect because the homes are in a really bad place.

Since December, there have been three major storms and another one is predicted to be on its way to New England.

Forty homes are at risk; 6 have been demolished. Homeowners are just in disbelief about this whole thing. These homes amazingly survived the blizzard of ‘78. Homeowners are upset because they feel it’s the government’s fault for not helping enough.

On March 25, there is supposed to be a beach cleanup that happens.
