(NECN/WRAL) - Tornadoes have been tearing through parts of North Carolina, and the threat isn't over yet.
In Raleigh, trees were knocked over and power lines were snapped. Some homes were smashed to pieces. Residents are advised to be careful as tornado warnings are still in effect for more than a dozen counties.
However, forecasters say the worst of the weather will be gone by Saturday night. Sunday is expected to be sunny and pleasant.
