Boychuk, Thornton missing from Bruins practice

Johnny Boychuk was missing from Monday's practice after taking a big hit over the weekend.
BRUINS REPORT: MONDAY, FEB. 27

   
WILMINGTON, Mass. – The Bruins were down a few players at practice Monday morning after the their rumble with the Ottawa Senators.

Johnny Boychuk was missing after feeling “a little foggy” because of a giant hit he took from Chris Neil on Sunday. Shawn Thornton was again among the missing with a flu that’s lasted more than a week. Adam McQuaid left the ice briefly with no apparent incident, but returned a few moments later to give the B’s six healthy defenseman for the rest of practice.
