(NECN/WVIT: Amy Parmenter) - Police in Bridgeport, Conn. have arrested the stepfather of a 5-year-old boy who brought dozens of packets of heroin to school.

Investigators say the boy wore his stepfather's jacket to class on Monday.

The drugs were in the jacket's pockets.

Thirty-five-year-old Santos Roman was arrested and faces multiple drug charges, as well as a charge of risk of injury to a minor.

He's being held on $100,000 bail.

They boy was released to the custody of his grandmother.
