Heart Attacks Deadliest for Young Women, Study Finds

Young women are more likely to die from heart attacks than young men, according to a new study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Women between the ages of 30 and 54 are also more likely to be sicker when they arrive at the hospital and are less likely to recognize symptoms of a heart attack. Researchers say this is because women are less informed about heart disease than men, who are more likely to be afflicted by the condition.
