(NECN) - Jim Lowell, is the chief investment strategist at Adviser Investments and has tonight's market analysis.
Stocks finished the weeked mixed. The Dow Jones rose 165 points to 12,307 and ended up 97 for the week. The Nasdaq composite climbed 50 to 2454, a drop of 20 for the week. The S&P 500 jumped 20 to finish at 1360. Regionally Bloomberg's New England Index went up more than two.
The consumer price index was up 0.6 percent, the biggest gain since last November. Discuss the CPI and why the dollar was stronger Friday.
