Driver Cited in Alleged Pedestrian Hit-and-Run in Arlington

A man was seriously hurt after being struck by a car Saturday night in Arlington, Massachusetts, in what police are calling an apparent hit-and-run.

Police have cited a driver in connection with an alleged hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Arlington, Massachusetts Saturday night.

According to police, an 80-year-old Cambridge man struck a pedestrian on Massachusetts Avenue around 10p.m., and apparently drove away before first responders arrived.

The pedestrian, a 48-year-old man from Baldwinville, Massachusetts, was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released the name of the man, but say he is now in stable condition.

Authorities have also not released the name of the driver, but say he will be cited for leaving the scene of a crash with Injuries.
