(Greg Wayland, NECN: Boston, MA) - Some are calling the selection of Sarah Palin by John McCain a wild card move, and that it could shake up the presidential election. It also raises some other questions. Will Palin be an appealing choice for Hillary Clinton supporters?
It also ends the speculation surrounding former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
At the McCain campaign headquarters in Boston, staffers knew their candidate would try to take back the spotlight with the VP pick, and they got it.
Disgruntled Hillary Clinton supporters are praising the GOP for the selection. Darragh Murphy head of Pumapac, says millions of Democrats have been prepared to vote McCain, and now they are even more excited.
