The Boston Business Journal recently obtained documents that indicate Boston 2024 crafted a proposal to use public authority to acquire dozens of acres of land in South Boston as part of their push to potentially land the summer games.

Some areas around Columbia Point and the University of Massachusetts Boston would be utilized for an athletes' village if the proposal goes through.

BBJ reporter Catherine Carlock authored an article titled "Boston 2024 bid: South Boston land could be acquired by public authority."
