Record Donation for Harvard's School of Public Health

Peter Howe was on the Business Beat also discussing Faneuil Hall and Home Depot

NECN's business editor Peter Howe was on the Business Beat looking at a record donation at Harvard University's School of Public Health.

The school received $350 million from the family foundation of the Hong Kong real estate developer T.H. Chan. Harvard will put the money towards a building that focuses on global health threats, including Ebola.

"One of the best things about this gift is it's very flexible. It can be deployed where it's most needed and it's an incredible tribute from a family that's been very successful and is honoring the dad in a beautiful way," Howe said.

In addition, Howe discusses a makeover for Faneuil Hall marketplace and the impact of the Home Depot data breach.
