American Ebola Patients Continue Receiving Experimental Drug

The Ebola crisis is continuing to have an impact on Nigeria, taking the life of a nurse who treated a Liberian American man before he died last month.

Five other people who had direct contact with Patrick Aawyer in Lagos also have Ebola.

The disease is blamed for at least 932 deaths in four West African nations including Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the two American Ebola patients continue to receive treatment at a hospital in Atlanta.

Nancy Writebol's husband says his wife is weak, but showing signs of improvement.

Both she and the other affected American, Doctor Kent Brantly, have been given doses of an experimental drug.

For more on the subject we were joined by Doctor Thomas Webster, a professor of chemical engineering at Northeastern University.
