Tufts Had 3 Patients With Possible Ebola Symptoms

The Boston hospital confirms that three patients were evaluated over the last two weeks, but that none met the criteria for an expected Ebola case.

Three patients were checked in the past two weeks for possible Ebola symptoms at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, the hospital confirmed Monday.

None of the patients met the "criteria of an expected Ebola case," said the hospital's media specialist in a statement.

Sunday, a patient was isolated in Braintree, Massachusetts, for possible Ebola symptoms and transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Officials say it is extremely unlikely that the patient has the Ebola virus.
