A person was fatally shot in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood on Wednesday, resulting in a home barricade, Boston Police confirm.
Police say officers responded to the area of West Cottage and Dudley streets around 1:40 p.m., where they found a 20-year-old man suffering from gun shot wounds. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say after the shooting, three people fled from the scene. They drove to a home on Woodville Street and police surrounded the home. Ultimately, six people were evacuated and were being questioned by Boston Police.
No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
