Police in Lawrence, Massachusetts, arrested 36 people as part of a drug sweep on Wednesday.
According to The Eagle-Tribune, this week's arrests mean that a total of 140 people have been arrested since the start of "Operation Blue Crush" six weeks ago. The operation is aimed at cutting back on the sale and use of heroin and other opiates and is expected to continue through the summer months.
Police said some of those arrested on Wednesday traveled from as far as Maine to purchase drugs.
