Boylston Street Reopened After Boston Bombings

(NECN: Kathryn Sotnik) – Boston city officials re-opened Boylston Street to the public, for the first time since the deadly attacks at the Boston Marathon finish line.

Police are on the street to ensure the re-opening goes smoothly.

“When I hear don the news that the street was re- opened, I intentionally wanted to walk by in remembrance of everybody and you can see it’s very emotional,” said one person walking through.

The Copley train stop is also open for people who need to commute to the area.
