(NECN: Julie Loncich, Boston) - Boston police are trying to solve a string of attacks on women in one of the city's most prominent neighborhoods.
With its lantern-lined streets, narrow alleyways and row homes, Beacon Hill is quintessential Boston - but in light of recent events here, many residents are terrified to walk the brick paved sidewalks.
"Being a 20-year-old female living in the city is very scary," Lauren says.
"I'm walking with my keys out now. I've been walking with my keys out every time I go up and down the street. Basically I'm suspicious of every male," Caitlin Landuyt says.
There have now been four sexual assaults on women in the past month and a half. What's more, Boston police say the latest attack closely matches the previous incidents, both in similarities and description. This past Monday evening at 6:15, the victim says she was walking on Brimmer Street toward the Charles T Station when a young man approached her and sexually assaulted her. 6:15 p.m. on a still bright, still populated street.
"That's actually really unbelievable," Lauren says.
"I don't know, I don't know why they haven't been able to catch him," Landuyt says.

The suspect is described as a young white male in his early 20s, 5'10", 160-170 pounds and was seen quite clearly in a surveillance video released by police. Authorities believe he is responsible for attacks on Anderson, Phillips and Garden in late May. Police are now investigating whether not all of the incidents are connected.
"I walk, you know, by myself, and I'm here a lot of times by myself in and out of the city, so it is disturbing," Barbara Rector says.
"In general, it's really terrifying," Lauren says.
