3 Charged in Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin, Fentanyl

Three New England residents have been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug charges.

Jeannette Hardy, 24, and Zakee Stuart-Holt, 33, both of Manchester, New Hampshire, along with Jose Casellas, 38, of Lawrence, Massachusetts are charged with conspiring to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute heroin and 400 grams or more of fentanyl during the period of July 2014 through June 2015.

Stuart-Holt is also charged with money laundering.

Agents seized approximately four kilograms of material that has been determined to contain fentanyl and three other kilograms that is yet to be confirmed at fentanyl.

Another approximately 17 kilograms of material was seized from a Lawrence apartment associated with Casellas, but the nature of that material has not yet been determined.

Nearly $200,000 in cash was seized from an apartment rented by Hardy and Stuart-Holt, more than $500,000 in cash from a safe deposit box rented by Stuart-Holt and $12,000 in cash from an apartment associated with Casellas.

The investigation was conducted by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, along with local and state police departments.
