New Hampshire State Police say an 80-year-old man is dead after he was pinned and killed by a rolling tractor-trailer in Westmoreland Thursday.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. at a residence on Cross Road.
Initial investigation showed the man was driving the vehicle up a steep driveway.
The vehicle left the roadway and rolled off a rock ledge several feet high, making a complete roll and trapping the man under the tires.
A family member discovered the man’s body. Police believe the incident was an accident and don’t believe he was under the influence of any substances.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
