Arrests Made in String of Car Thefts at Gym

Arrests have been made after a rash of car break-ins and car thefts outside of a Massachusetts gym.

According to Billerica police, officers in Stoneham made the arrests for receiving stolen property after recovering a Toyota RAV4 that had been stolen from a Planet Fitness over Memorial Day weekend.

Police say the thieves stole victims' keys from a key hanger located inside the Billerica gym next to the check-in desk, stealing three cars and breaking into a fourth one to steal a wallet.

There were also credit card thefts related to the car thefts, since the victims left their wallets inside of their cars, police say.

Billerica police say they are planning to file charges soon; however, they are not releasing identities.
