A Belmont, Massachusetts, woman sustained life-threatening injuries when her vehicle rolled over her at Maine's Acadia National Park.
Witnesses told park rangers that the woman and her family were outside of the vehicle on Park Loop Road when it began to roll backwards. The vehicle rolled onto the 38-year-old woman's upper torso when she tried to stop it.
The woman was taken to Trenton Airport and the transported to EMMC in Bangor via medical helicopter.
