A person fishing on the rocks of Rafes Chasm Park in Gloucester was swept out to sea on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Two people were fishing on the rocks at the park when they were swept out to sea. One made it back to shore, but lost sight of the other person. The missing man is reported to be in his early 30's and wearing blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
A search was conducted Tuesday for the man with a Coast Guard helicopter, 47-foot boat, Environmental Police, and Massachusetts State Police helicopter.
Massachusetts State Police dive crews were back out searching on Wednesday morning.
