Danny Amendola Has Knee Sprain, May Play Sunday

His availability will depend on how well he responds to treatment this week

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a knee sprain during Monday night's game against the Buffalo Bills and may be able to play this weekend.

Comcast Sportsnet New England's Tom E. Curran reports that Amendola's knee sprain will limit him throughout the week. But he is not expected to miss an extended period of time and it's possible he could play Sunday night against the Denver Broncos.

That's good news for a team that had already lost running back Dion Lewis and wide receiver Julian Edelman in back to back weeks.
