Police in Greenfield, Massachusetts, say the driver of a tractor-trailer was seriously injured when he crashed on Route 2 overnight Thursday.
Route 2 by Factory Hollow Road was closed both directions as of 7 Friday morning.
The driver was transported to Baystate Medical Center. He is expected to survive.
Police say the road will be closed until noon Friday and the closing is expected to create significant traffic issues throughout the town.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
