Sister: Second Missing Woman Found

Stephanie Vaczy, who is said to have spent time with missing Jaimee Mendez of Swampscott, Massachusetts, has been found, according to sister Karissa Vaczy.

A woman missing from Lynn, Massachusetts, has been found, according to her sister's Facebook page.

Karissa Vaczy told NECN that her sister, Stephanie Vaczy, had last been seen Oct. 30 and was often with missing 25-year-old Jaimee Mendez of Swampscott and a Level 3 sex offender Mendez's family said was with her when she disappeared.

As of Tuesday, Mendez remains missing. The Essex County District Attorney's Office said that the investigation was fluid and ongoing.

"Stephanie vaczy has been found," wrote Karissa Vaczy on Facebook. "Now it's time to bring Jamiee Mendez home please help find Jamiee ‪#‎teamfindjamiee"

When asked Monday if her sister had ever disappeared before, Karissa Vaczy said, "Never. And she makes sure she calls my mother three times a day, every day. And we haven't heard from her since the 30th. Her cell phone has not been used since the 30th. We did a tracking on it."

Police would not comment on any connection between Mendez, Stephanie Vaczy and the sex offender.
