A Massachusetts father of three, left unconscious after being attacked in a Quincy bar last week, has succumbed to his injuries.
Keith W. Boudreau was just 42-years-old.
Preparations are being made to charge Paul J. Fahey, 42, of Quincy with murder, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's Office.
Several witnesses, including Boudreau's girlfriend, told police she and Boudreau had left the bar, and when she went to grab dinner, he went back in, and was assaulted in an allegedly unprovoked attack.
Fahey is currently being held without bail on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
He has pleaded not guilty to charges associated with the incident.
