The Fire Marshal's Office has confirmed that there was a fire at 12 Edith Holmes Drive in Scituate, Massachusetts.
The Fire Marshal's Office has also said that they sent a fire investigator to the scene.
The fire chief reported that a woman and her 40-year-old son lived in the home, which was reported to be cluttered.
The fire reportedly started in the kitchen of the house. Only the son was home at the time of the fire. He was found unconsious and was resuced from the home. The man remained unconscious when he was transported to the hospital.
The chief said the home is now condemned.
