A flight from Boston to Seattle returned to Logan International Airport shortly after taking off Friday evening after a mechanical alert.
JetBlue Flight 907 landed just before 5:15 p.m. According to MassPort, it was able to taxi back to the gate.
The plane was expected to be towed as a precaution.
The airline said customers would be taken to their destination on another aircraft Friday evening.
