A man was hospitalized Friday morning after an iron pole struck him in the head at a New Bedford, Massachusetts, construction site.
The incident happened around 8 a.m., according to the New Bedford Fire Department.
The victim was conscious and alert when crews arrived, but he reported having breathing problems.
Officials could not confirm how heavy the pole is.
The victim's current condition is unknown.
