Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Hit-and-Run in New Hampshire

A New Hampshire man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a fatal hit-and-run in May, police confirm.

Jason Douglas of 28 Miller Rd. in New Durham was arrested on a warrant for conduct after an accident on July 9 by Rochester police.

Rochester police say Douglas was involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed Jeffrey Howarth on Route 11 on May 7.

Douglas was bailed on $25,000 personal recognizance and will be arraigned on Aug. 31.

It's not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
