Police in North Reading, Massachusetts, have arrested a man accused of possessing child pornography.
Augustine Russo, 62, was arrested without incident at his home on Main Street after police served a search warrant.
Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating an email address, which police linked to Russo, uploaded pictures online.
During the search, police found images of child sexual abuse on Russo’s computer and on a flash memory drive, which may lead to additional charges.
Russo was held on $5,000 bail. He is expected to be arraigned in Woburn District Court Thursday.
The case remains under investigation.
