Police say a Milford, Connecticut, man who made a threat against a city high school will be arrested after he is released from a medical facility where he is being held for psychiatric evaluation.

James Piccirillo is being held at an unidentified medical facility. Police say an arrest warrant has been issued and Piccirillo will be arrested after he is released.

Police did not provide details about the alleged threat against Jonathan Law High School.

Police say they searched the 48-year-old Piccirillo's residence and found low-grade commercial fireworks and determined he was not an immediate threat to the school community. As a precaution, the State Police Bomb Squad helped in the search.

It was not known Monday morning if Piccirillo is represented by a lawyer.
