Motorcyclist Fatally Rear-Ends Car

Speed and slick road conditions are believed to be factors

    A motorcyclist is dead after hitting the rear of a car in Derby, Vermont.

    Joseph Gresser, 65, was driving on Interstate 91 in Derby Saturday afternoon when his car was hit from behind by a motorcycle, according to Vermont State Police.The motorcyclist, 50-year-old Gaetan Delabruere, was thrown off his bike and hit a set of guardrails.

    The crash remains under investigation, although it is believed speed and visibility were factors.
