Police Looking for Man Wearing Tom Brady Jersey in Connection to Assault During Pats Game

    Police released surveillance footage of a man wanted for questioning in connection to an assault that happened during the Patriots' season opener at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 7, 2017. (Published Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017)

    Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with an assault that happened during the New England Patriots' season opening game last Thursday.

    Foxboro police said the man, shown in surveillance video wearing a silver Tom Brady jersey, was seen in the Route 1 area on Sept. 7 around 10:30 p.m.

    Detectives said they are investigating an assault involving three men that happened on the paved roadway behind Rodman Ford, which leads to the Shufelt Road and Beechwood Drive neighborhood off of Summer Street in Walpole.

    Anyone with information about the man in the surveillance video or the assault is asked to contact Foxboro Police Detective Ken Fitzgerald at 508-543-1212.
