Police in Cohasset, Massachusetts, say a man accused of trying to lure a child into his car last week was on probation for a child porn conviction.
Michael Wynn, 44, of North Attleboro, was arrested at his home Friday night for the alleged luring of a child and failing to register as a sex offender.
Police say on Thursday the girl was approached at a bus stop by man who asked her if she wanted a ride. She ran home and was able to give police a detailed description of the man.
Police say investigation led them to Wynn, who was held over the weekend. Wynn pleaded guilty to a child porn charge in May 2010 and was sentenced to probation.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in court Monday.
