A lake in Middleton, New Hampshire, has been deemed unsafe for swimmers, police announced Saturday.
Police have issued a cyanobacteria beach advisory for beaches on Sunrise Lake.
Potential swimmers and pet owners are being alerted about "the possibility of harmful toxins."
Police noted that the advisory would be removed "when the growth is no longer visible."
