Police Search for Armed Robbers

Police said the men ordered a clerk on the floor, stealing cash and cigarettes

Police are asking for the public’s help to find three men who robbed a Leicester, Vermont, general store with a handgun.

Authorities said three men entered Champlain Beverage while displaying a handgun and ordered the store's cashier onto the floor. The men stole cigarettes and cash from the register.

The cashier was not injured in the robbery.

Investigators said one of the suspects dropped a carton of cigarettes that was collected as evidence and will be tested for fingerprints.

The men were described as men with a medium build, between 5’10” and six feet tall and wearing dark-colored hooded shirts. One was described as having acne. Police said they aren’t aware of a vehicle was used in the commission of the robbery.
