Police Seek Church Vandalism Suspect

A symbol, which appears to replicate the Anarchist Movement, was spray painted on the church

Police in Holland, Massachusetts, are searching for a suspect in connection to the vandalism of a local church.

A symbol, which appears to replicate the Anarchist Movement, was spray painted on the exterior wall of the Holland Congregational Church's office building. The act of vandalism was reported on Jan. 20.

At this time, Police say there is no evidence suggesting an active Anarchist group in Holland. They also say the graffiti doesn't appear to be an active gang symbol.

Anarchism is commonly defined as a theory that all forms of government are oppressive and should be abolished.

Anyone with any information that could lead to the arrest of potential suspects is asked to contact the Holland Police Department at 413-245-0117.
